Bed Upgrade - Mostly successful

i put together the new bed frame i had been holding for the spoons to assemble it. then i unpacked the new bed slats. they're an inch too wide. after checking to make sure i had the right ones, i said fuck it and used them anyway by angling them to fit inside the raised lip of the frame. as of now it seems to be working. maybe one day in the future i'll have someone cut them down for me.

my room feels a bit nicer just getting the mattress up off the floor. i don't have the spoons just now to measure it and see if i can put it against the wall the window is on; maybe this weekend. for now, it's good!
